Over 50% of slots sold in Warsaw and Czech Hradec Králové, along with an expanding group of partners - IRONMAN Poland has a strong starting position for the new season.

The organizers of IRONMAN events in Poland can consider the end of the year 2023 successful. First, they expanded their portfolio with a new race scheduled for August in Czech Hradec Králové. Subsequently, they successfully opened registrations for this year's editions, and finally, they announced the establishment - or extension - of partnerships with several partners such as Phoenix Foundation, BIKE EXPO, Hama, and AQUA SPEED.

We enter this year with good energy. We are delighted by the trust that both new and existing partners have placed in us. We also highly appreciate the number of athletes who have confirmed their participation in our events for the 2024 season. While these may not be record numbers as before the pandemic, we see positive trends that give us even more motivation to act.
Piotr Jakóbik, Head of Marketing, IRONMAN Poland

The greatest interest among athletes is currently focused on the June IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw, as well as the first-ever IRONMAN race in the Czech Republic, namely IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové (August 18, 2024). Over half of the available slots for both events have already been sold, totaling more than 1,500 entries.

This number should significantly increase in the coming weeks. This is due to the current registration dynamics but also because January 28 is the deadline for Flex90. It means that this is the last day to sign up using the additional "protective package" in case of later withdrawal from the race or transferring the registration to another event. Last year's experience shows that around this date, the number of new registrations noticeably increases.

More about the benefits of the Flex90 package can be read on the official IRONMAN website.

The planned openings of registrations for accompanying events will certainly contribute to the increase in the number of athletes:
- January 9: IRONKIDS races;
- February 6: Night Run races on a 5 km distance;
- March 5: Open Water swimming competitions accompanying events in Warsaw and Poznań.

Based on current registration trends, it is estimated that a total of 10-12 thousand active athletes may take part in IRONMAN Poland events (Warsaw, Gdynia, Poznań) and IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové in the 2024 season.
