Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is the last race of this year’s series in Poland where entry slots are still available. Places for the Olympic-distance race in Gdynia are also running out.
The event in Gdynia is planned for 19 July. Those who do not have an entry slot yet should hurry. Only the last 50 places are left for Enea 5150 Gdynia, the Olympic-distance race. This pool will probably be sold out within the next 2-3 weeks.
In the main race, Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, the athlete limit is already 70 percent full. As all other races at this distance in Poland, in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań, are already sold out, we expect more interest in racing in Gdynia in the coming weeks. That is why the organizers encourage athletes to register now, especially as places from the second-to-last price tier are still available. Once they are sold out, the entry fee will increase.
Never before in the history of IRONMAN races in Poland have so many athletes wanted to test themselves on our courses. This is a clear sign that more and more people are looking for ambitious challenges. It is also very good feedback from participants on the organization of IRONMAN Poland events.
Maciej Stroiński, PR Manager of IRONMAN Poland
The Gdynia race returns to the city after a one-year break. What creates the special atmosphere of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia will not change. The race will start from the City Beach in Gdynia, and after the swim, triathletes will ride out onto a hilly bike loop through Kashubia. The run course will take place in the centre of Gdynia, where athletes will run, among others, along Świętojańska Street and the Seaside Boulevard. The cherry on top will, as always, be the spectacular finish line in the middle of the beach, filled with the loudest triathlon fans in the world.
Many convenient services are available for athletes racing in Gdynia. Athletes can use the bike preparation service before the race. The service includes unpacking, assembling and adjusting the bike, as well as disassembling and packing the bike after the race. The organizer can also help with finding accommodation or renting a road bike. On site, in the finisher area, athletes will also be able to engrave their result on the medal.
The return of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is one of the gifts for the city’s anniversary. The event has been added to the calendar of official celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Gdynia receiving city rights. Many cheering points will be set up along the run course, and those interested will be able to take part in a city game, which will encourage people to visit different attractions.
